How to Disable IMAP and POP Login

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) and POP (Post Office Protocol) are email protocols that are used to retrieve emails from a server. IMAP allows multiple clients to access the same mailbox and keeps the emails on the server for later access. POP retrieves the emails and deletes them from the server. Follow this guide to disable IMAP and POP login of your mailbox.

## Steps to Disable IMAP and POP Login:

Navigate to Mail Settings:

- In the dashboard, go to the Mail section.

Manage Email Account:

- Find the email account or mailbox you want to disable IMAP or POP for and click the “three dots” next to that account.

- Click IMAP & POP from the pop menu.

Disable IMAP and POP:

- Toggle the IMAP and POP login button to OFF.

- Click SAVE to update the changes**.**

Disabling IMAP and POP logins for email accounts can be useful if you want to prevent users from accessing email accounts via IMAP or POP and force them to use webmail.
